Shipping Policy

Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. Every order no matter what size is important to us and our promise is to provide a fast and efficient delivery or pickup service in accordance with this policy.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at the time of check out, and vary according to the delivery address.

  • All local deliveries $89
  • Deliveries approximately +20km from store Sydney Metro $129
  • Deliveries to Penrith, lower mountains from $159-$199
  • Deliveries to Gosford and Wollongong are charged at $160 per hour

Handling and Delivery Lead Times

Orders placed before 10.30am Monday-Friday will be delivered the following business day. If this is not possible a service team member will advise when your order will be completed.

Out of stock or Special Order items will incur longer lead times. Delivery/Pick Up times will be confirmed as soon as it can be sourced from our suppliers.

Delivery Conditions

Our delivery team require clear site access, and in most instances a site contact, unless authority to leave the goods has been pre-arranged. 

We require clear and safe site access to unload. If our delivery driver deems the drop off location unsafe, the goods may be returned to our yard, and additional charges incurred to reschedule delivery when suitable access can be provided.

We reserve the right to charge a turnaround fee if our driver is unable to unload for the reasons noted above or if there has been cancelation after we have dispatched the goods.

Change of Shipping Address

If you need to change your shipping addressing after placing your order, please contact us on 1300 791 229 or email us at online@canterburytimbers.com.au

Special Instructions

If delivery requires special instructions, such as gate numbers, specific delivery times, or others, please include a note with order. Please note deliveries are scheduled between the hours of 7:30am and 3:00pm daily excluding Sundays.

In Store Pick Up

Online orders can be collected from Canterbury Timber & Building Supplies, after receiving confirmation by email that you order has been picked, packed and ready to be collected.
