ModWood Best Deck Competition

ModWood is launching a competition for the ‘Best Deck’ and we are interested to see your installations.

There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes awarded to the top 3 installations: 

1 st Prize Apple iPad 10.9-inch Wi-Fi 64GB Silver - $749 Value 

2 nd Prize Go Pro Camera - $549 Value 

3 rd Prize Apple Airpods 2nd Generation - $219 Value 

To be eligible for the competition, your deck installation must incorporate the currently available  ModWood decking boards and their required installation methods or a combination of them. 

▪ Natural Grain Collection Standard Decking 88mm / 137mm, Flame Shield or Marina 137mm 

▪ Xtreme Guard ( grooved, square profiles or both )

Please ensure that you have followed the relevant Fixing Instructions available on the website. Minimum deck size for entry eligibility is 25m2 and there is no maximum size restriction. ModWood will assess entries around the below parameters: 

a) Originality

b) Design Intent 

c) Craftsmanship 

d) Innovation 

e) Environmental challenges

To be eligible for the competition, the deck is to be completed during the period September 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023. Entries must be received by Friday April 14, 2023 11.59pm by either email or mail to be eligible for this competition. Competition winners will be advised by Friday April 21st, 2023. 

We look forward to seeing your deck design documentation ( comprising briefs, drawings, plans and before / after photographs and built location of the deck design )
